I am officially “Even Steven” (at least for the day). Some friends invited me to the Giants game yesterday but I couldn’t go because I promised to help Baltazar judge the Tri-Valley High School Improv Competition at Tommy T’s last night.  I was sorry I had to miss out but I had a great time at the contest. Anyway, yesterday as I’m driving to Pleasanton my friend Patricia calls and says she has an extra ticket to tonight’s game. Yee-hah! All bets are on!

I love this weather, it is beautiful! Of course I don’t have air conditioning so I may be singing a different tune by the end of the week. If all else fails I’ll put my faith in frozen beverages…margaritas, daiquiri’s etc. I say it’s high time to bring back the pina colada.

Thanks to everyone who participated in today’s Ladies Room whether you called in or just laughed in the car. I like to think of it as our special time to bond. Hey I hope you enjoyed your Mother’s Day weekend as much as I did. Here our some of my highlights. Friday night at Mexican Heritage night with the SF Giants was off the hook. We had so much fun behind centerfield that we almost forgot there was a game going on. LOL

Saturday I felt like a rock star on board the Hornblower Mother’s day cruise! People usually tell us they listen to the show but when they actually quote conversations and events it leaves us feeling extra special. Now the funny thing about this day is that another big event was happening behind the scenes. My new girl was introducing me to her mom for the first time. Who is the new girl? You ask..Hmmm…I’ll leak that out in due time. LOL..and keep you in suspense! LOL (no it is not JLove! Stop with those JLove references!) Alright back to meeting the mom. Whew! It went pretty well! We actually ended up hanging with Maria and the gang all afternoon. (and yes Maria did gving me a resounding thumbs up)

I’m going to fast forward into Mother’s Day because I’m being summoned to go “record”. My mami is my first love and I had the pleasure of surprising her by flying down to Ontario to see her this weekend. No tamales, no Mexican goodies for me. I wanted her to enjoy the day all to herself. (although I did put an order in..LOL)  Oh, oh I reall have to run…..to be continued
