Blah…blah…blah
That’s the way things are for me right now. It’s Monday and I’ve got nothing planned for the week. Sorry I’m a planner and try as I have to get over this in the past, wide open spaces (especially on my calendar) make me nervous. I spent most of the weekend in solitary confinment watching back episodes of Grey’s Anatomy. Watching all those whiny doctors drove me from home to a number of different shopping spots (food, clothes, gadgets) and caused me to spend more money than I planned. I am proud of finding an old school Margarita machine. Hopefully it works as well as the box promises and then it really will be a bargain.
Sorry to disappoint but I just couldn’t get it together for the Union St. Festival. Chunk made it though. Check his blog because I am sure there are interesting pictures. I did leave the house for one activity: Golden Gate Fields. It was dollar day Sunday and I had never been before so I figured I’d give it a shot. For 23-bucks I crossed the Bay Bridge, parked at the place, got a program and admission, ate two hot dogs and some cracker jacks and washed it all down with a soda. Not to mention I lost some of that betting on the races. Try and do all that at At&T Park for that price. I’d reccomend this activity, especially for folks on a budget. I saw quite a few families there. The kids watched the horses and ran around while the parents bet a couple bucks and everybody got to eat, not a bad day I say. On the way back I got lost and found a new spot to try some fishing. If this sounds strange it’s because I have a secret outdoorsy side. I won’t go as far as camping overnight but I don’t mind a commune with nature now and then. That’s it. I spent all my fabulous on Friday at our Sex and the City Party (Thanks again E.J. and staff at the O-Lounge!) so my blog is blah today but stay tuned, this week is going to pick up exponentially! Peace.
