One Down, One To Go
Congratulations to Kristi Yamaguchi! She is the proud recipient of that mirror ball trophy from Dancing with the Stars. She’s only the second woman to win since the show went on the air and I say “Whoo-Hoo, Girl Power! Of course that meant my man Jason Taylor had to go home empty handed but I’m not crying for him because I see great things ahead for him off the football field. Can you say endorsement deals?
Tonight the David vs. David contest will be decided on American Idol. I’ve freely admitted that I haven’t been an avid watcher this season but I did watch the first half of the finale. From those performances, on the singing alone I say David Archuleta is the winner but many things go into the making of the American Idol like who’s going to be easiest to work with and the most marketable. We’ll find out what America (and the producers) think tonight.
Outside of Hell’s Kitchen this effectively ends my being held hostage by reality shows. I’m no fan of The Bachelorette (you already know this if you’re a big listener to the morning show) and I generally don’t get into So You Think You Can Dance. What am I going to do with those extra hours. I hope to get myself off the couch and find an outdoor hobby that will cause me to break a sweat (keep it clean!) . I’m open to suggestion- Anybody?
Tomorrow more great prizes: Tina Turner tickets, Charlie Murphy tickets (he’s at Cobb’s Comedy Club through the weekend) and of course more passes for our Sex and the City screening event. I’ll be there and I hope you are too, have a most excellent day!
