I’m headed out of town to see friends this weekend which coincidentally leads to my birthday.  I am looking forward to cold beer and crawfish baby! I plan to be saddle sore from riding Harleys and horses, Yee-hah!

Enough about me, wait one last thing they are having a huge birthday party for me at Lux on Friday the 18th and I would love to put you on the guest list. I’ll open it when the show starts on Friday and leave it open all morning long so you can just call in to get you and your guests on. It’s gonna be Hot and Juicy!

Okay, I’m totally hooked on Miley Cyrus, the new Jordan Sparks/ Chris Brown joint and Madonna. & JT. Much love to my girl Anjelah Johnson and Alonzo “Real Big Hands” Bodden and of course the one and only Gary Spivey. My weekend movie pick is Prom Night (sorry SJP and Dennis Q but your flick looks blah!). I got to root for a horror movie that has a fine Brotha’ in it and lets him live to the end!

That’s it.  Weather forecast is amazing this weekend so it’s a topless weekend (jeeps, convertibles or fabric free if you dare!). Me and Deuce are on the loose, back on Monday for the big “Surprise Birthday Show”  have an amazing weekend!

There’s no crying in radio! Well guess what? There is crying, especially with Psychic Gary Spivey. My poor Maria even got into the tearfest. Usually I’m the “girl” in the studio with all the emotion. Not today, Gary Spivey connected immediately with Maria’s grandparents. Describing them in every detail including  grandmother’s distinctive grey colored eyes. He is amazing! I’m not going tell you what he told me (love life) because I don’t want to jinx it.

I have a little behind the scenes. Today was F%$@#$%@##^ crazy! We had Gary Spivey scheduled for 7 a Love Trap at 7:30 and then comedian Pablo Francisco(San Jose Improv this weekend) showed way early! It was a juggling act. OMG, I had to hold going to the bathroom for two hours!!!

I want to thank the beautiful listeners we had come in today for our live Gary Spivey show. I hang on every word with Gary Spivey especially this morning when Gary was talking to Janelle from Livermore about her troubled teenage son. Hang in there girl nothing is permanent. He will see the light.

Oh @%&* we have to go do our Office Party!!! Talk to you tomorrrow morning!

I’m glad San Francisco wasted lots of time and money moving the torch around the city … Mayor Pretty Boy and Queen of the Beat Fong are saying, “fugaboooutit” when it comes to the torch … forget the fact that the city wasted lots and lots of my taxpayer money setting up barriers, police on OT, homeless being given gold bars to throw at protesters

Well Day#1 with Gary Spivey and I’m still standing. In my opnion he’s a very sweet man and he has a gift. I’m telling you, I am always cold in our studio because the guys keep the temperature on “freeze meat”. I usually have on a hoodie, or sweater and scarf and when Gary was here today, I was actually able to take my hoodie off. No we did not change the thermostat. That man has warm positive energy all around him. I thought I would be scared but I wasn’t. I still haven’t asked him any questions but (and I can’t believe I’m going to say this…I’m going to “embrace my Dancing With The Stars”…advice from Adam Corolla as he was voted off last night. Basically it means try the thing you are afraid of.) tomorrow is another day.

Speaking of which we have quite the exciting show lined up if I do say so myself. Of course Psychic Gary Spivey will be with us live in studio to do readings, we’ll have a brand new Love Trap, and the always hilarious Pablo Francisco! I’m particularly excited because this will be the first time that we have a live in studio audience! Thanks to El Balazo for catering tomorrow’s event.

A couple last things, no offense to my radio brother Adam Corolla but dude, I’m glad you got voted off ( well technically didn’t get enough votes to stay on) because you were stinking up the place! Would someone please tell Bret “No, this is not a wig” Michaels that he’s headed for Rock of Love 3. There’s no way he’s going to find love with Drama Dizzy Daisy or Amnesiac Ambre. Geez.  My prediction: he picks Daisy, they have a rock n’ roll romp for a few months and he’s back for the next installment. Thank goodness scripted TV is coming back!

Like Maria said today, KEEP THE TORCH LIT AND ME TOO!

I get why people are protesting the Torch Run and I’m smart enough to realize whats going on, but since the Torch is going to run right by the building i’ll have to sneak The Janitor a sandwich so I can get on the roof and check that out.

I see that I have a bit of a confession to make. I generally don’t get readings from our resident pyschic Gary Spivey because I am afraid. Now I’ve been to palm readers, tea leaf readers, aura readers, card readers etc, paid my money and heard about my future. Everything from the “woman trouble” I needed to go to the doctor about, to the proposal that’s headed my way, to handsome stranger that will be the father of my children. Some of these things came true others did not but either way to me it was all in good fun. The thing I notice about all these readings is that no one would ever give me bad news. Whatever my question there was always a positive outlook which allowed me a healthy dose of skepticism. The things that came true I attributed to the power of suggestion, the things that didn’t I chalked up to our ever changing place in the universe.  However there’s something about Gary Spivey that makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I’m so afraid he’s going to tell me something I don’t want to hear I’m afraid to ask. He’s really straight with people, good or bad when you ask he tells you.  Baltazar is fearless, he’ll ask all kinds of questions and has gotten good and not so good results. I am sure he’ll ask more tomorrow for Psychic Wednesday or on Thursday when we have Gary here in the studio.

I know some of you are thinking, if you have the opportunity to know the future why not? That way you could prepare for it maybe even change the outcome. You’ve got a good point but I prefer to take life as it comes. I know the power of suggestion works on me. If someone tells me I look good that can truly make my whole day where if someone tells me something negative it can sabotage my whole day unless I fight it and try to rise above it. Using my own theory, if I ask and get a positive answer it could make my whole day or the opposite. I just wish I could be brave enough to take a chance on the positive without fearing the negative.

I have got to give props to Baltazar…my pardner’s Balt-buster was off the hemisphere this morning!  Every time I think about that poor man’s hot nut stand I end up laughing. If you missed this one, catch it on the podcast at movin997.com, it’s totally worth it!

I also have to throw out props to Earthquake. He’s hella-funny! If you listened this weekend you heard his joke about Whitney Houston in our promo. I started Biggest Loser Trainer Bob Harper’s book this past weekend “Are You Ready”. Obviously there’s a connection between your thoughts and your body but he illustrates that connection really well. I didn’t get that far in but it’s very interesting and get ready to find out some stuff about yourself that you may not even have been conscious of.

Tomorrow we”ll have some interesting guests as well : Chris Hansen from “To Catch a Predator” will give you tips to help safeguard your children, we’ll also talk to latest American Idol castoff Ramiele Malubay, plus a brand new Love Trap. Remember free breakfast tomorrow from opening to 10am at participating Jamba Juices.

BTW: I wasn’t going to make this declaration but I am just to keep myself honest. I want to lose five pounds this week because that is what’s keeping me out of this one pair of jeans I have that I really like. They have been taunting me for months and now I am so close I can taste it. (Note to self: No tasting that why you have to lose this weight in the first place!) I want to wear them out of town this weekend.  I’m on the case, we’ll see what happens. Think good thoughts for me please!

I have to thank everyone who emailed us and called in to day with love for the Baltbuster. Ibrahim and his hot dog/peanut stand in SF(check podcast) That’s what I call “Baltbuster magic”. Pulling a prank is so tough to pull off with a success rate for me probably being 3 out 10. First getting the alias (funny name) by the person is a crap shoot, then the odds of making the person believe this is a real phone call.  You have to listen to the podcast to find out about that Baltbuster magic and please keep the Baltbuster emails coming!

I’m going to admit that my humor is self-deprecating and I may go over the top on certain topics. But seriously call me dumb because I thought “muffin top” was for men and women. Apparently not because I got jumped on with “give us back your man card” comments! Bob Harper (trainer) from the Biggest Loser was laughing too. “Gee, I have never had that referred in that way”…LOL….. Ok, ok it is called “love handles”! Ooh I just need to lose 5-10 lbs!

JLove just came into our office. OMG, he heard my comments about his golf game this morning. He is using a golf club that golfers over 60 use when their skills have diminished. Wow! Now I know what to get him for his birthday. Can you say “viagra” LOL That or a box of Depend undergarments! LOL

Ooh, I have to leave on a high note! LOL

Here I come! I feel like that woman in the cell phone commercial that’s going to call everyone and tell them everything. I am totally free this weekend, no man, no dog  no plans! As I said in a previous post, back in the day this would freak me out. However, I’ve got plenty of movies and tv shows I haven’t watched, books I haven’t read and friends I haven’t seen. Not to mention places I want to check out. I plan to balance the inside with the outside. Sunday I’ve planned as a personal spa day. Saturday you can come and hang with me from 11a to 1p at Lucky Supermarket, 815 Marine Village Parkway in Alameda, 94501 (the zip’s in case you need directions). I’ll have samples of Dannon Lite and Fit 0% Plus Nonfat Yogurt. Come out and see me and find out what I’ve been talking about. We’ll have a few giveaways and I’ll answer your questions about the show and Baltazar’s love life.  I’ve been falling down on the job as a matchmaker so any single ladies that are interested I’ll be happy to collect your info. The rest of the landscape is bare but trust me it won’t be boring!

I got some good news this morning I heard from an old friend that another old friend of ours is moving to the Bay Area. (I don’t know if my liver can take it!) I’m psyched though. I love good news first thing in the morning, it sets the tone for the rest of the day. As Gwen would say “I’m feelin’ hellagood”!
