Back in the Saddle Again
First off, thanks to everyone who sent up prayers for my Father and my Family during my abscence. I truly believe in the power of prayer so with the help of the Lord above you worked a miracle! My father is home, his speech and movement were not affected so for the most part he is back to himself. He still faces a few medical challenges but things could have been so much worse.
Thanks for such a great welcome back! I loved yesterday’s show and a special shout out to my Ladies that called in for today’s Ladies Room topic: Are you going to save or spend your rebate and for what? Most were going to spend. Some of the answers: A single Mom was going to treat her kids, one woman was going to use it toward opening a business and still another was going to spend it towards her upcoming wedding. One of my saver’s was putting it in a rainy day fund for her Grandmother’s medical care and another young woman was going to put it toward college. All this made for some interesting discussion on and off the air because I haven’t decided what to do with mine yet.
It’s Tuesday so I have to mention Dancing with the Stars. Poor Christian De La Fuente! He’s been struggling and was finally making improvements and now he’s injured. I have a feeling he will not be able to continue with the competition and even if he can he will probably be voted off tonight because he and Cheryl had the lowest score last night. Hopefully he will get some sympathy votes. It’s getting so close now, I really don’t know who should go home this week.
Well that’s it from my end. I have mega-errands today since I was gone last week and I can’t get my body clock right. My body is tired but I’ve had a bit of insomnia since Friday. It’s like I can’t cut my mind off. We’ll see what happens today. Forget emotional eating, I’d like a dose of emotional sleeping!
