OK, so i’ve been gone for a few days and I need to clear the air about some rumors …
1. NO, that wasn’t me in the Lindsay Lohan sex tape.
2. YES, I was sick and not hanging out in vegas with kevin federline and the pussy cat dolls, despite what other blogs and Baltazar are saying.
3. YES, I did get a girlfriend and no I did not order her from a Canadian Escort Service.

Last night if you didn’t watch the game The Warriors 115 … LA Lakers 111 and YOU know tonight they are going to kick some ass again .. playing in ‘the town’ starting @ 7:30 … yes a double header.
Also tonight is the Benefit Concert for Christopher Rodriquez. The show is at Yoshi’s and here is the link for his blog if you want some more info

anyways….more after the show!

Ahh, the weekend! I hope your Friday is just flying by so you could get on with your Easter plans. You may of heard me busting on our producer Chunk about “faking the funk” for a couple of off days into the weekend. Well whateveer he had, I have now! It is 70* outside and I have the chills and feel like I have a fever. Here’s the dilemma, I want to go out and enjoy the weekend (golf, dinner, and yes cervezas..lol) If I do, I risk prolonging this and coming in Monday under the weather. Oh shiznet! For now I’m on my couch watching basketball. OMG! Connecticut just lost! I hope you didn’t have them on your office pool! Ouch!
Big love to Eddie who came in to help us out while Chunk was out. Thanks for giving me the Ebola virus dude! I think we should of been doing the ‘kiddie jokes” all week for the Wiggles show. It was so tough to choose from all the jokes. Cece in SJ was quite original with the “why did the mom wear a helmet to the dinner table?…Because she was on a crash diet! LOL
Alright, I’m hitting the sack for some zzzzzzzzz’s. Happy Easter or as my mom always said growing up in Modesto. Felis dia de la Coneja (Happy bunny day!)

This is turning out to be what my friend Joe calls a “snapshot day”. That’s a day that’s so great that you stop and look around so you can get a picture of it in your mind that you will always remember.
The show was really busy this morning with our Kiddie Comedy Contest and I have to give praise to all our junior jokesters. They’re jokes were really funny and it was a tough decision but congratulations to CC our winner of the front row wiggles tickets. Her joke: Why did the lady have a helmet at the dinner table? She was on a crash diet.
We also lots of laughs thanks to our three guests today. Comedians Bobby Collins (Tommy T’s in Pleasanton), Dat Phan (Cobbs Comedy Club) and Sinbad (San Jose Improv) brought the funny. I have to say that I have been a Sinbad fan since longer than I care to say (I still will watch him and the late Phil Hartman in Houstguest whenever I see it on) so it was such a joy to have him on the show. I actually got to sit and discuss a number of topics with him off the air and he’s funny, honest and down to earth. Deuce liked him too! When Chunk gets back I’ll have to put up the picture with the three of us. To be a fan of someone for so long and finally meet them and have them be even more that you expected is so amazing! I just had the best time talking with him, really he was like an old friend that I’d known for years.
I’m ready for the weekend, it’s been a long week. I’m headed to a very posh birthday party tonight and then some girlfriends invited me to go to a country-western bar. It’ll be interesting to see if I can conquer geography and get all this in. If you haven’t started dying eggs you better get crackin’! (ha!ha!) BTW: The “in” Easter egg color this year is teal according to the Paas egg dye kit people. If you want to make it, just mix green and blue. Good Luck and Hoppy Easter! (ha!ha!) Sorry, guess the kid jokes rubbed off on me.

If you missed today’s Love Trap (you can check it out on the podcast) but Chris alias “Dark Gable” got canned like a sardine (thanks, Baltazar). I admit I had fun luring him in but ultimately I felt bad for Anastasia. She’d already forgiven this guy for cheating once, they move to make a new start and she ends up with the same ol’ stuff! BTW: If you liked “Cinthia”, she’s available after 5pm for 1.99 per minute. (Ha!)
If you haven’t yet, hit up People.com and check out the cover with Jennifer Lopez and her babies. They’re beautiful! I think she’s gonna move a lot of magazines and Christina Aguilera will get even madder.
I just love our Dating/Love Coach Jeaninne Kaiser! Her advice is spot on. If you want to consult with her or get her free newsletter her website is : yourdatingiq.com. Next week’s newsletter is 50 Ways to Meet Your Lover. Her number is 925-355-8081. If you’re single and looking to mingle join her tonight for “Flirt Fest” at Bing Crosby’s in Walnut Creek.
Tomorrow is Front Row Friday so get your kids ready to tell a joke. The Kiddie Comedy Contest kicks off at 7am. (If your commute is earlier you can call and we’ll tape them.) The best joke will win Front Row Tickets to see the Wiggles at their live show at the HP Pavillion in San Jose.
Also on Friday more tickets for High School Musical, Love in the Time of Cholera DVD’s and Dancing with the Stars Cheryl Burke.
I’m out like a scout to Pleasanton to meet Ilda and the crew at Adams Pool Solutions. They are our Office of the Week. We’ll bring lunch from El Balazo and I hear their showroom is set up to look like Hawaii so it should be a blast!!!!!

It’s funny but I never really think about what makes or breaks my day. It only occured to me yesterday when we got so many callers from the Bay Bridge backup. One woman said her commute colors her day, that means her yesterday sucked. My commute is usually solitary, at best I see one person off in the distance but every now and then I’m surprised. This morning was a suprise morning. When I got on the elevator there was a man in there with “Monday morning face”. (You know a combination of tired, wishing you were going anywhere but work with a touch of boredom.) When I said “Good Morning”, he said “Yeah, well at least it’s Wednesday.” I agreed. “Hey, Hump Day, it’s all downhill from here.” The elevator doors opened and we went our separate ways. I started to think, what makes my day?
Well, corny as it sounds I’m a sucker for a sunny day so when I see the sunrise over the buildings I feel pretty good. When Chunk offers to go on a coffee run and I or one of my co-workers treats. ( I feel equally good giving and getting!) When Baltazar comes by my chair and gives me a hug or Deuce jumps up on my workspace and lays down and falls asleep on my notes. (He’s a funny little dog.) Watching for Mark Nieto’s Hawaiian shirt collection or getting a nice e-mail from a listener first thing in the morning. Any and all of those things make a good day or at least a good morning for me. If I’m having a good morning I try to ride that high all day so if you see me “Don’t harsh my mellow!” Now what makes your day?
I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s show…Dating Coach Jeannine Kaiser will be in to discuss your relationship questions and we’ll talk about snooping….more tickets to High School Musical, Love in the Time of Cholera DVD’s (starring Academy Award winner Javier Bardem, the book was an Oprah’s Book Club selection) and 2nd Row Wiggles Tickets…Yea! Thanks for reading and listening and supporting the show! Ooh, I see sun, Yea!

What’s up!
If you were stuck in that Bay Bridge mess today we certainly kept you entertained. Especially the Love Trap with Jackie in San Jose catching her daughter Lisa with her much younger man. (check podcast) Tomorrow Jackie will check in with the aftermath of this love triangle from hell. Plus we have Ruby from Fremont on the Baltbuster. She doesn’t know it but she co-signed on a department store credit card and let’s just say she’ll have to pay the price on tomorrow’s Baltbuster! LOL She’s is old and hard of hearing, it is hysterical at 6:30 and 8:30.
OMG, we are watching Hillary Clinton on TV promising to bring the troops home from Iraq within 60 days if she is elected president! Wow, she is going pedal to the metal for that White House! I’m joking with Maria that Barrack Obama is going to counter Hillary with the promise to get rid of the Bachelor from tv! Which will make Maria happy! Matt Grant from the UK is the latest hombre up for the part of the Bachelor. I loved the intoxicated Stacy who got the boot after she tried to slip her underwear in his pant’s pocket. LOL
Speaking of TV, I’m already coming out with the prediction that r & b singer Mario is going to win Dancing with the Stars. Damn, I wish I could move like that!
FYI, I’m going carb free for the next month. Six hours into it and I feel fine. (please check with your doctor before you start any diet or exercise program) I will admit the turkey breast slices I had on the way into work where a challenge to gulp down. Yikes 30 days of this shiznet! I’ll keep you posted on the results!
Gotta run like the immigration is after me! Have a fun day!

Today’s Love Trap was a bit of an eye-opener for me. Call me naive but I only thought stuff like this happened on soap operas. I can’t imagine romance ever coming between me and my Mother, unless I felt she was involved with someone who was a threat to her in some way( or vice-versa) and even then if she chose that person I would have to step back and respect her choice. No way would I ever try to undermine my mother’s relationship, even if I was attracted to the man and he made a pass at me. If he could do this obviously he has no love or respect for either of us. I think Jackie (mother) and Lisa’s (daughter) relationship had problems to begin with for her to take up with her mother’s love interest and her mother to throw her under the bus so easily. In case I haven’t said it yet, the real culprit is the man in the middle of this “love triangle”. For him, this is a fun romp and a story to amuse his beer buddies. For Jackie and Lisa this is an event that has and will continue to cause lasting emotional damage. Jackie says Roland is a “good man” and blames her daughter for being “a sneaky little thing”. Sneaky or not people are not posessions. They can’t be “stolen” in the same way you hot wire a car or shoplift a piece of jewelry. They have to be willing participants in the crime. I hope Jackie and Lisa sit down tonight and talk about what’s at the root of this because this issue is bigger than this man. Hopefully the hurt, and distrust this has caused can be put aside and they can talk about their real resentments and jealousies and forge a new deeper understanding of one another. That is however, more than one conversation had over time and it has to be followed by positive action. From the sounds of things these ladies have a long tough road ahead, if they even decide to take the journey.
